How to Cure the Insomnia in your Attic

Kristen Hoggatt recommends Peter Jay Shippy's How to Build the Ghost in Your Attic as a potentially epic cure for insomnia.

"Peter Jay Shippy’s How to Build the Ghost in Your Attic [...] is so wild that I can’t precisely say what it’s about (it opens with the narrator masturbating to his favorite comic book when a cow crashes through the roof). I love it," she says.

RMP at AWP post-mortem

Rose Metal Press had a table at this year's AWP Book Fair in Denver:
We also had a panel on our latest book, The Rose Metal Press Field Guide to Prose Poetry, which was just released:
The panel included Kathleen McGookey, Brigitte Byrd, co-editor Gary L. McDowell, Maurice Kilwein Guevara, John Bradley and David Shumate, and helped us sell out of all the copies of the PPFG that we'd brought with us to Colorado. But don't despair; you can still buy the book with the AWP deal (a $28 pairing with The Rose Metal Press Field Guide to Writing Flash Fiction) here. We also had a panel on the flash Field Guide, featuring Robert Shapard, Lex Williford, and RMP co-editor Abby Beckel... ...as well as Kim Chinquee, Sherrie Flick, and Randall Brown:
And courtesy of Todd B. Stevens, you can catch a full re-cap on the Caleb J. Ross blog here. Thanks, Todd, for your swift and comprehensive commitment to documentation and archiving! And thanks to everyone for coming to our panels and stopping by our table. We already can't wait to see you in DC next year.
